Two housemates, Kuture and Joanna, have been evicted from the ongoing Big Brother Naija Season 10, capping off what has been the most dramatic weekend of the show so far.
Their exits were announced by host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu during Sunday’s live eviction show in Lagos. Joanna was the first to leave before Kuture followed later in the night.
The double eviction came just a day after Saturday’s shocking twist that saw Thelma Lawson and Bright Morgan abruptly kicked out immediately after the weekly party, the first Saturday night exit of the season.
The back-to-back evictions left both viewers and housemates stunned, tightening the competition in the house.
BSGISTNEWS reports that during Sunday’s live show, Ebuka stirred conversations by confronting housemates with hot questions. He pressed Kola on why he continued to pursue Dede, despite doubts about her feelings. Kola admitted he couldn’t suppress his emotions while living in close quarters with her.
Jason Jae was also asked about allegedly monitoring Sultana’s actions while drawing closer to Joanna, which he denied, saying both were free to do as they pleased. Joanna clarified that her bond with Faith was purely friendship.
Kuture, tagged by other housemates as a “gossip,” dismissed the label, insisting he was unfazed by perceptions in the house.
Meanwhile, Saturday’s evictees, Thelma and Bright, also joined Ebuka on stage during the live eviction. Thelma hinted at a possible collaboration with fellow ex-housemate Kaybobo, while Bright reflected on his eviction, saying he had no regrets over his time in the house.
With four housemates exiting in one weekend; Thelma, Bright, Joanna, and Kuture, the stakes have soared higher. The official voting poll revealed that Kuture topped the bottom four, followed by Bright, Joanna, and Thelma, who had the lowest votes.
As alliances shift and tensions rise, fans are bracing for more drama in the coming weeks of the competition.
