Civil Defense, Fire Service, Correctional Service & Immigration Service (CDCFIB)

The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has officially closed its 2025 recruitment portal, confirming that it received an overwhelming 1.9 million applications from across Nigeria.

According to the board, Kogi, Kaduna, Benue, and Katsina States recorded the highest number of applicants in the nationwide exercise.

The recruitment process, which was initially set to begin on June 26, 2025, faced multiple delays due to persistent portal issues. The deadline was moved from July 14 to July 21, and later extended once again, with the final closure taking place on August 11, 2025; a week after the original August 4 deadline.
