The 52-year-old comedian was reportedly gunned down on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, suffering multiple gunshot wounds. Sadly, despite desperate efforts from officers and medics to save his life, Carroll did not survive.

Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Carroll carved out a name for himself in the comedy world with his bold stage presence and raw humor. He first hit the spotlight touring with Katt Williams before headlining his own showcase, “Knockout Kings of Comedy.” Over the years, he left his mark on the entertainment industry by performing on “Showtime at the Apollo” in 2000, acting alongside Mo’Nique and Countess Vaughn on the sitcom “The Parkers,” and even starring in the 2022 TV movie “Rent & Go.” Just last year, in 2023, he produced a stand-up special under the same name as his showcase, proving he was still as sharp and relevant as ever.
