Prophet Chukwuemeka Cyril Ohanaemere, who is widely known as Prophet Odumeje, is the founder and General Overseer of the Mountain of Holy Ghost Intervention and Deliverance Ministry in Onitsha, Anambra State, Nigeria.
Recently, he caused a lot of surprise and mixed reactions among people after making a very unusual prophecy about his own death.
While speaking to his congregation during a church service, Prophet Odumeje boldly declared that his time on earth would not be very long. According to him, when the time comes for him to die, nobody will ever see his dead body. Instead, he said that he would simply “fly away.”
In his own words, Odumeje described himself as a very powerful spiritual figure. He compared himself to the late Prophet T.B. Joshua, saying that they were the only two greatest spiritual men of their time. He explained:
“I am the strongest spiritual man in the world after Emmanuel T.B. Joshua. We are only two. One has already finished his work and gone home. Now it is just me, the Lion himself, the dead man walking. My mission is not about living a long life, and when I finally leave, no one will ever see my corpse.”
Prophet Odumeje further explained the reason behind his unusual message. He said that his assignment on earth is not just about performing miracles or gathering followers, but about proving to people that Jesus Christ is real. According to him, his purpose is to remind the world that there is only one God and only one true power, which is the power of Jesus Christ.
He stated clearly: Our mission is to remove doubts from people’s hearts about Jesus Christ.There is only one God, and there is only one true power, and that power is Jesus Christ.
The prophecy has since attracted attention both online and offline. While some of his followers believe strongly in his words, others remain doubtful or see it as another dramatic statement from the controversial preacher.
