Governor Yusuf of Kano State has signed into law the 2025 budget, totaling N719.8 billion, with a focus on prioritizing education, infrastructure, and human capital development.
This “Budget of Hope, Human Capital, and Economic Development” allocates 64% of its funds to capital expenditure, amounting to N457 billion, and 36% to recurrent expenditure, totaling N262.6 billion.
Governor Yusuf assured the people of Kano that the budget will be utilized judiciously, following global best practices in public financial management.
He emphasized that this budget will positively impact citizens’ lives, guaranteeing improved living conditions through strategic investments.
