According to video footage obtained by TMZ, the “Teenage Dream” singer and the Canadian political figure dined at Le Violon, a high-end restaurant in Montreal, on Monday night. The pair reportedly shared an array of dishes, including lobster, and sipped cocktails as they conversed closely, with Perry seen leaning across the table several times.
Security guards were present nearby, stationed discreetly behind mirrored glass to ensure the privacy of the two high-profile figures.
The dinner comes on the heels of Katy Perry’s official split from longtime partner Orlando Bloom, with whom she shares a daughter, Daisy Dove, born in 2020. The pair announced their separation in a joint statement released on July 4, noting that they were transitioning their relationship to focus on co-parenting.
“They will continue to be seen together as a family, as their shared priority is – and always will be – raising their daughter with love, stability, and mutual respect,” the statement read.
