The United Kingdom-UK has opened applications for the 2025/2026 Chevening Scholarship Programme, offering fully funded one-year master’s degree opportunities to emerging global leaders including qualified Nigerians.
In an official statement released by the British High Commission, the application period runs from August 5 to October 7, 2025. Successful applicants will be able to pursue their postgraduate studies at any university in the UK.
Richard Montgomery, the British High Commissioner to Nigeria, emphasized the transformative power of the Chevening experience and called on eligible Nigerians to seize this prestigious opportunity.
“Chevening is more than a scholarship – it’s a gateway to a global network of changemakers,” Montgomery said. “Whether your dream is to influence public policy, start a business, or address pressing social issues, Chevening equips you with the tools and network to make a lasting impact. We want more Nigerians to take advantage of this opportunity to drive change both at home and abroad.”
