Radio Nigeria office in Lagos on Wednesday night witnessed a devastating fire incident, ravaging the studio section of the building.
Bsgistnews.com correspondent records that the incident occurred at the broadcaster’s premises located at Plot 35, Ikoyi Road, Lagos.
According to Margaret Adeseye, Director of the Lagos State Fire Service, a joint team of firefighters from the Federal Fire Service and the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service responded swiftly to the emergency.
Firefighters from Dolphin, Ebute Elefun, and Oba Oniru Fire Stations were among the first responders who battled to contain the blaze at the Radio Nigeria Lagos Studio Premises.
Although the cause of the fire remains unknown, the swift response from the emergency services helped prevent the fire from spreading beyond the studio section of the building.
The Lagos State Fire Service assured the public that the situation was brought under control through collaborative efforts with other emergency responders, including the Nigerian Police.
