Bala Mohammed through the Bauchi State Government has allocated a substantial N1.57 billion in its 2025 budget for office infrastructure and equipment.
A significant portion, N400 million, will be spent on purchasing six computers for the office of the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), while N1 billion has been earmarked for acquiring land to construct new offices and buildings .
Additionally, N170 million will be allocated for buying a generator to power the SSG’s office.
This development comes on the heels of Governor Bala Mohammed’s criticism of President Bola Tinubu’s social and economic reforms.
Governor Bala Mohammed recently urged an Islamic cleric who had supported Tinubu’s election to advise the President on addressing the struggles faced by ordinary Nigerians.
The Governor emphasized the need for the government to implement meaningful programs and make more prudent spending decisions to alleviate the widespread suffering among Nigerians.
