Bianca Ojukwu, the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs in a significant development has announced that President Bola Tinubu intends to release Nnamdi Kanu, the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

According to Ambassador Bianca Ojukwu, President Tinubu recognizes the importance of Kanu’s release in exposing the criminal elements exploiting IPOB to instigate chaos in the Southeast.
Ojukwu emphasized that the release would help distinguish genuine freedom fighters from those causing mayhem in the region.
Ambassador Ojukwu also seized the opportunity to condemn the violent “sit-at-home” orders imposed in the Southeast, which she believes contradict the principles of self-determination and have hindered economic activities in the area.
Instead, she urged collective efforts to reclaim the region from criminality and insecurity.
It’s worth noting that Nnamdi Kanu has been in custody since his repatriation from Kenya.
