Hope Uzodinma the Imo State Governor has confidently declared that he will leave office with his head held high, free from any fear of being pursued by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) or any other organization.
Speaking after attending the Feast of Christ the King Mass at the Government House Chapel in Owerri, Hope Uzodinma threw down the gauntlet, challenging anyone with evidence of wrongdoing to come forward.
“I’m proud to say that I’ll leave office a free man, with a clear conscience and without any fear of the EFCC or anyone else,” Uzodinma boldly stated.
He also maintained that his administration has fulfilled its promises to the people of Imo, leaving a lasting legacy of prosperity, infrastructure, and dignity.
Reasons for Hope Uzodinma’s Declaration;
Uzodinma’s declaration comes on the heels of the EFCC’s arrest of former Delta State governor Ifeanyi Okowa, who is accused of misappropriating funds totaling N1.3 trillion.
Despite this, Uzodinma remains confident in his administration’s integrity and transparency.
