Niger State’s Executive Council has unveiled a proposed budget of N1.2 trillion for the 2025 fiscal year.
This massive budget proposal was presented by Commissioner of Budget and Planning, Mustapha Ndajiwo, during a Government House Council meeting.

The proposed budget is comprised of N188.42 billion (15.68%) for recurrent expenditure and N1.01 trillion (84.34%) for capital expenditure.
This represents a significant increase of 32.94% compared to the approved budget of 2024.
