NSCDC (The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps) has issued a stern warning to its officers in Kogi State, vowing to dismiss anyone found engaging in job racketeering.
This directive was made clear by the Kogi State Commandant, Akinlade Esther, during a three-day workshop focused on tackling job racketeering and financial fraud within the Corps.
Commandant Esther emphasized that the NSCDC’s actions align with the vision of Commandant General Dr. Ahmed Abubakar Audi, who prioritizes capacity building and integrity within the organization.
Esther urged officers to stand united against malpractice, upholding the trust placed in them by the public and maintaining the agency’s integrity.
Key Principles for NSCDC Officers;
– Honesty: Imbibe values of honesty and transparency in all interactions.
– Diligence: Demonstrate hard work and commitment to duties.
– Respect for the Rule of Law: Uphold the principles of justice and adhere to the laws of the land.
The Resident Anti-Corruption Commissioner, Ulu James Okoro, reinforced these principles, encouraging officers to become guardians of truth and defenders of justice.
By doing so, they will honor the trust placed in them by the people they serve.
