The incident, which occurred on Tuesday night, resulted in the loss of several young lives.
Tinubu extended his condolences to the state government, the school’s owners, and the families of the victims.
He also prayed for the speedy recovery of those injured in the fire and receiving medical attention.
In a statement released by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu emphasized the importance of ensuring the safety and security of all students in public and private schools.
He directed regulatory authorities in the education sector to enforce compliance with safety standards.

The country has witnessed several incidents of school kidnappings and fires in recent years, including the Zamfara kidnapping in 2021, which resulted in the abduction of 279 female students.
