President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed Muhammad Babangida, son of former military president Ibrahim Babangida, as the Chairman of the Bank of Agriculture, signaling a major step in the institution’s restructuring. Who is Muhammad Babangida?
At 53 years old, Muhammad Babangida brings a combination of private sector insight and global education to the role. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Master’s in Public Relations and Business Communication from the European University in Montreux, Switzerland.

In 2002, he completed the Harvard Business School Executive Program in Corporate Governance, equipping him with the strategic leadership tools for overseeing agricultural financing and reforms in Nigeria.
