NPFL (The Nigeria Premier Football League) has strongly condemned the vicious attack on Sulaiman Kamil, assistant coach of Remo Stars.
The incident occurred on Sunday, following Remo Stars’ matchday 17 fixture against Ikorodu City at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena.
According to eyewitnesses, Kamil was assaulted by an unidentified individual, sparking widespread outrage and concern within the Nigerian football community.
The NPFL, led by Chairman Gbenga Ogunbote, swiftly issued a statement on Monday, denouncing the attack and urging swift action from the relevant authorities.

Remo Stars had played out a 1-1 draw against Ikorodu City in the match preceding the incident.
