Thibaut Courtois the Real Madrid goalkeeper, has expressed his confidence in Kylian Mbappe’s ability to explode onto the scene at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Despite a slow start to his Real Madrid career, Mbappe scored his latest goal for the title holders in their 2-0 win over Getafe in LaLiga on December.
Courtois, who has been impressed by Mbappe’s quality, believes that the Frenchman is on the verge of a breakthrough moment.
“Kylian Mbappé is a player with great quality,” Thibaut Courtois said.
“This is like a bottle that has liquid inside and it seems like it doesn’t come out, but suddenly it all comes out. And that’s what’s going to happen to him.”
Mbappe’s move to Real Madrid was highly anticipated, with the Spanish giants finally landing the 25-year-old this summer despite Paris Saint-Germain’s efforts to retain him.
Real Madrid had previously attempted to sign Mbappe on two occasions, but ultimately secured his signature this year.
