You’ll need your birth certificate and a recent passport photograph.

Step 2: Create Your JAMB Profile

Send an SMS with “NIN” followed by your NIN number (e.g., NIN 12345678901) to 55019 or 66019.

You will receive a 10-digit JAMB profile code via SMS.

This code is essential for the registration process.

Step 3: Purchase Your JAMB e-PIN

Visit any bank, authorized POS outlet, or use online platforms to purchase your JAMB e-PIN.

The cost for UTME registration is N3,500 for the ePIN, with additional charges like N700 for registration, N1,500 for the main UTME exam, and N1,500 for the optional Mock-UTME.

Step 4: Visit an Accredited CBT Centre

Take your JAMB profile code, e-PIN, and other required documents to any JAMB-accredited Computer-Based Test (CBT) centre.

Here, you will:

Complete your JAMB registration form with personal details, including choosing your preferred course and institution.

Upload your O’Level results (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB). If you’re awaiting results, you can indicate this during registration.

Biometric enrollment, capturing your fingerprints and photograph, is mandatory.

Step 5: Complete Registration

At the CBT centre:

Fill in your biodata, choose your examination town, and submit your subject combination.

Pay any additional fees if applicable (like for the mock exam).

After successful JAMB registration, you’ll be issued your registration slip, which you should keep safe as it contains your exam details.

Step 6: Preparation and Mock Exam (Optional)

If you opted for the mock exam, prepare for it using the JAMB syllabus and past questions.

The mock exam helps you familiarize yourself with the CBT format.

Step 7: Reprinting Your Exam Slip

A few weeks before the exam, you will need to reprint your exam slip from the JAMB portal.

This slip contains your specific exam details, including the date, time, and venue of your exam.

Step 8: Exam Day

On the exam day, bring your exam slip, a valid ID (like your NIN slip), and follow all instructions at the exam venue.

Step 9: Check Results

After the exam, JAMB typically releases results within a few days. Check your results by:

Sending an SMS with “RESULT” followed by your JAMB Registration Number to 55019 or 66019.

Or check online on the JAMB e-facility portal.

Additional Tips:

Early JAMB registration is advisable to avoid last-minute issues or centre closures.

Ensure all personal information provided is accurate to prevent any registration or admission issues.

Always check official JAMB communications channels for the latest updates or changes in the registration process.

This guide should help you navigate the JAMB registration process smoothly. Good luck with your examinations!
