President Bola Tinubu has reaffirmed his commitment to building a stronger Nigeria, despite anticipating criticism and insults from some quarters.
Speaking in Enugu on Saturday, President Bola Tinubu emphasized that he understands the challenges of leading the country, having contested in the 2023 elections with a clear vision for Nigeria’s future.
During his meeting with stakeholders from the south-east geopolitical zone, President Bola Tinubu highlighted the importance of commissioning projects initiated by Governor Peter Mbah, such as 30 smart green schools, 60 primary health centers, and a 19-kilometer road network.
These projects demonstrate the government’s focus on investing in education, healthcare, and infrastructure.
Tinubu also addressed the contentious issue of petrol subsidy removal, stating that it was a necessary step to protect the interests of future generations and prevent bankrupting the nation.
He emphasized that Nigerians must work together to build a nation they can be proud of, rather than perpetuating negative narratives.
As Tinubu noted, “We are all members of one big family called Nigeria, living in different rooms in the same house. We must build this house to satisfy our immediate needs and those of tomorrow.”
With his leadership, Tinubu aims to bring about positive change and make Nigerians proud of their country.
