Tinubu’s administration has received another boost with the Middle Belt youth urging Nigerians to have faith in his administration, despite the current challenges facing the country.
Comrade Chris Aba, National President of the Middle Belt Youth Development Organization (MYDEVO), made the plea in a New Year message, applauding youths and stakeholders in the North Central region for their support for the President Tinubu in 2024.
Aba congratulated Nigerians for making it to 2025 and expressed gratitude to Almighty God for the opportunity to witness the new year.
He called for fervent prayers to give Tinubu and his cabinet the wisdom to reposition Nigeria, emphasizing the need for resilience and commitment to achieving the nation’s development goals.
The MYDEVO leader acknowledged the current hardship faced by Nigerians but assured that the government’s reforms would yield positive results in the years ahead.
He stressed the importance of unity and peaceful coexistence, saying that with collective support, Nigeria would overcome its challenges and take its rightful place among nations.
Aba also appealed for support from governors, especially those in the North Central region, to address the hardship inherited by the Tinubu administration and enhance quality of life.
He emphasized the need for more funding of sporting activities, which he described as a rallying point for unity, peace, and development.
To promote youth engagement and participation in governance, MYDEVO is staging a “Tinubu Unity Youth Sports Competition” aimed at enhancing unity, peaceful coexistence, and combating insecurity.
The organization is also working to engage youths in productive ventures and promote their participation in governance through new standing orders.
In his message, Aba urged youths to shun vices like armed robbery, banditry, and kidnapping, and join hands with the government to fight insecurity.
This call to action echoes the sentiments of other groups, such as the Middle Belt Transformation Ambassadors of Nigeria, which has commended the President’s efforts to engage with youths and address the country’s challenges.
